Verizon wireless is rated as one of the best services in United States. Verizon wireless traces its origin from Bell Atlantic mobiles. The name "Verizon” is derived by combining the word "veritas," a Latin term that means "truth," and the word "horizon."  As of May 2007, the company served a total of 60.7 million U.S. subscribers and has the largest service by area and had an annual revenue of $38.0 billion.

Advantages –

1.      Verizon covers all of US, including good services in northeast and far off states.
2.    Call quality better than its immediate competitors, especially in Mid- Atlantic and northeastern states.
3.    You get all the services under one head. CDMA network is very efficient.

Disadvantages-

1.      Expensive- Monthly rental of Verizon is higher than its competitors.
2.      International compatibility- Verizon's CDMA network will not work on a GSM network. Most European, African and Asian cell phones work on GSM networks.
3.      Customer care services not very user friendly.
